The Rave

I have now been introduced to the 'rave scene' a few times, with it's dubstep music and crazy kids... the dubstep music which is actually amazing however I will NEVER learn how to dance to it.

I feel a little uncomfortable at the bars or clubs that this type of music is played, the reason being because I never seem to fit the 'dress code' of it. It's a kind of neo-goth mixed with hobo ensemble but this is strictly the girls...

I cannot go out without a shower, a little make-up, a nice outfit and a pair of heels but this dress code seems to be everything is ripped, hair is unwashed, clothes look like they are owned by a dominatrix and biggest of all, NO ONE WEARS HEELS! I love originality with a little bit of shock-value and I have stated this previously so a lot of people might think I'm being a hypocrite but I don't believe so. I believe in structured originality, creating an impressive aura around oneself through their creativity with clothing and this frankly, doesn't quite fit the bill.
