Alice In Wonderland came out yesterday, Friday, March 5th 2010. It was to say the least, not what I expected but you will have to find out what I mean by that by seeing it yourself. One thing that I will tell (which is not a spoiler) is that the movie is a continuation of our beloved Alice In Wonderland story, it is not a remake. Whenever I figured this out it helped me like the movie better because too many things were not matching up with the original story that it frustrated me.
Favourite parts:
1) Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter
2) How animated things were like the arms of the Red Knight and the body of the Red Queen
3) What I'm really here to talk to you about; Alice's red dress whenever she is in the red kingdom and the Red Queen has a dress made for her out of the curtains.
There are no pictures of it up yet since the movie only came out yesterday but I have attached a link to a youtube clip of Alice and the White Queen where she is wearing the dress. Out of Alice's six wardrobe changes, this dress is the best (minus the red rope hanging from the middle which was the only part that kind of bugged me). It is wonderfully cute with the card suite theme over one half and the deep red underneath in the bottom. I could not take my eyes off of it.
